According to reports, Bryan J. Fernandez Hernandez, inset, killed his mother, sister, and brother-in-law in Houston before telling police the family members were intruders.
A guy told Texas police that he was defending himself during a house invasion after he reportedly shot three people to death.
However, the victims were relatives who were living with him, thus according to the authorities, they quickly discovered that was a lie.
In the 10500 block of Hammerly Boulevard, Bryan J. Fernandez Hernandez, 27, reported a home invasion to Houston police just after 3 p.m. on Saturday, according to a news release. He claimed that he had shot the three alleged intruders inside his flat. Upon entering, the officers discovered a male and two women deceased.

During an interview with detectives, Hernandez restated his account of the home invasion and claimed that he had shot the three individuals in self-defense.
Nevertheless, police claimed that “further investigation and evidence from the scene” showed there had been no such house invasion and that he had killed his mother, sister, and brother-in-law.
The 65-year-old Leonor Hernandez, his mother, shared the house with him. Before the shooting, authorities believe that his sister, 43-year-old Karen Herrera, and her husband, 38-year-old Thomas Kupriakov, had been spending a few days together.
Hernandez is now being prosecuted on three counts of capital murder.
“The claim of a house invasion is untrue. Carlos Flores, the suspect’s half-brother, told the local ABC affiliate KTRK, “My mom, sister, and her husband were all executed in their apartment.”
Hernandez was the subject of two prior requests for mental health assistance that Houston police reportedly made to the residence since last year.
He caused my mother to argue with all of us. She was always trying to shield him, and Flores claimed that’s where it got her.
Hernandez might be violent, according to Flores.
He informed the source, “My brother needs to take responsibility for his actions, accept the consequences, and make amends.”
Hernandez remains unbonded at the Harris County Jail. July 24 is his next scheduled court date.
