Two amiable Labrador retrievers went missing from their North Texas home on July 8. On the grounds of Eagle Mountain International Church, a security guard tragically fired and killed them. It was obvious that the two canines belonged to someone as they were both wearing collars.
Bella and Hershey had gone missing, and their owners were in a state of panic. They took to social media and posted on a website for lost dogs in their area.
The news that their canines had died reached the family only a few days later. Someone at the church said the white Lab had snarled, and the security guards “felt the dog was aggressive.” This surprised the owners.
The family said the two Labradors got along famously.
What did the owners say?
My hungry lost dogs need our help.

In Texas, it’s against the law to kill a dog simply because it’s on your property. It is against the law in Texas to kill, poison, or severely harm an animal unless the owner permits you or if doing so would endanger you, other people, or your animals. When a person needs to kill a dog for their own safety, they can do it legally.
Hershey and Bella, may you rest in peace.
