The Arizona dad who abandoned his little girl in a sweltering car while he played video games got combative and asked, “So I’m being treated like a murderer?” newly leaked bodycam footage shows him being accosted by police.
After the police arrived at his house on July 9 and discovered his two-year-old daughter Parker desperately trying to stay alive in the family car, Christopher Scholtes, 37, also broke down. He had claimed to have left Parker in the car with the air conditioner on for about thirty minutes so as not to disturb her.
“Am I going to be treated like a murderer?” In bodycam footage obtained by Inside Edition, he notified the police that the property might be a crime scene after they informed him. He raised his voice during the interaction.

The threat that Christopher Scholtes’ house would be used as a murder scene prompted him to become defensive.
