Man in Oakland Arrested for Felony Burglary Following Window Incident

MJP – The Benicia Police Department reported that on Friday, an individual from Oakland who possessed two warrants for burglary was apprehended after being discovered in the backyard of an unknown person’s residence.

Someone told a woman that someone was in her backyard, so she called the police. When the responding cops reached the apartment, the subject reportedly ran away.

A concerned citizen alerted authorities that the criminal had gone through their backyard, prompting the establishment of a search perimeter. According to the police, the man was apprehended in an open area.

A 33-year-old man from Oakland was named as the suspect. Two separate felony warrants for burglary and attempted burglary were held by the defendant, according to Benicia PD.

The caller’s house was reportedly broken into by the suspect, according to the police. Near the victim’s house, police also discovered his automobile.
