IOWA CITY, Iowa –
In an update Tuesday, Iowa City police said they have identified the person of interest in an assault case.
The Iowa City Police Department is asking for help identifying a person of interest as they investigate an assault case.
Police said they were called about the assault at around 2 a.m. on Nov. 16. It reportedly happened in the 100 block of East College Street.
Police say the person of interest is seen in a surveillance photo wearing a white t-shirt and camouflage pants.

Police are also asking that anyone with potential footage, from the area at about the time the incident took place, to review their footage and contact police if they see the alleged incident.
Iowa City Area Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in this case.
