Floyd Mayweather is adding yet another gem to his already amazing collection of homes… TMZ Sports has heard that he has agreed to pay over $20 MILLION to buy a well-known building in New York City.
We’ve heard that The Best Ever is buying a corner apartment on Manhattan’s 6th Avenue (and 47th Street), which is where he used to go on expensive shopping trips.
1196 6th Ave. is the address of the building, which has offices, a diamond exchange, and even a big billboard that makes money.
He said in a statement, “I used to shop in the diamond exchange when I was a young adult.” “I never thought I would end up owning this important property at the entrance of 47th Street.”
“Through hard work and dedication, anything is possible,” he said.
Of course, Floyd is best known for his work in the ring. But now that he’s retired, the boxing star has become a real estate mogul. You may remember that he bought more than 60 buildings in New York City for a huge $402 million price tag in October. It was in November that he also bought a piece of Miami’s famous Versace Mansion.
