EXCLUSIVE: Former Hud Secretary Dr. Ben Carson Joins Brian Jack at Columbus Campaign Stop

On Thursday afternoon, the race for the Georgia Third Congressional District made a brief stop in Columbus.

A candidate named Brian Jack, who has worked in the administration of former President Donald Trump and has received Trump’s endorsement, invited Dr. Ben Carson, who had previously served as the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, to a rally that took place during lunchtime.

At the DoubleTree Hotel, the rally was attended by more than one hundred individuals.

In an effort to secure the vacant position, Jack has requested assistance from people who are close to the previous President. Not only did Jack bring Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake to Columbus before the primary election in May, but he also brought her there.

Jack is competing against Mike Dugan, a former state senator and United States Army Ranger from Carrollton, in a runoff election on Tuesday.

Although Dr. Carson was speaking about his friend Jack during the rally that took place this afternoon, he was greeted with a warm welcome by the attendees of the rally. In an interview that was conducted exclusively for WRBL, Carson stated that the presidential and congressional elections are equally important in order to bring about a fundamental change in the state of the United States of America.

This coming Friday marks the conclusion of early voting in person across the state of Georgia and in Muscogee County for the congressional contest. Elections are held in the City Services Center on Macon Road in Columbus, Ohio, from seven in the morning to seven in the evening. On Election Day, the runoff will take place on June 18th wrbl.com stated.
