According to authorities, a guy lost control of his car on Wednesday afternoon in Carthage and struck a utility pole. As a result, he died.
The man has been identified as Michael Kimbrow, 55, by the coroner.
Just before 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Cincinnati police said that their Traffic Unit was called to the 7000 block of Fairpark Avenue in reference to a reported fatal collision.
According to the preliminary inquiry, Kimbrow lost control of his SUV and struck a post while traveling south on Fairpark Avenue in a 2024 Nissan Kicks.

After being brought to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, he was declared deceased.
Kimbrow was reportedly buckled up when the accident occurred, according to the police. It looks like driving too fast is a contributing issue, and the authorities are looking into potential impairment.
