The U.S. Department of Justice reports that two individuals from California were each given a sentence of 70 months in prison for conspiring to possess fentanyl to distribute it.
An undercover investigation in October 2022, according to a news statement, exposed Zeshan Malik Fayyaz and Lener Daneski Jairon-Solis’ fentanyl sales.

The males agreed to meet with a cooperating source and a Mobile County Sheriff’s Office deputy to buy two kilograms of fentanyl, which would cost $38,000 per kilogram.

Jairon-Solis gave the men $1,000 in exchange for opening a suitcase and taking out the fentanyl when the men got there.
According to the announcement, when police halted the car, they found three more kilograms of fentanyl.
It was said that the men intended to transport those three kg to Pensacola.
