Kansas City, Missouri — An individual was taken to the hospital on Saturday night with serious injuries; the Kansas City Police Department is currently investigating the crash.
Police in Kansas City, Missouri, say that at 11 p.m., a Mustang was spotted doing donuts near the intersection of Broadway Boulevard and West 20th Street in downtown Kansas City.
Authorities stated the Mustang’s driver began to accelerate north on Broadway before losing control, careening off the road, and slamming into a traffic signal pole.

Authorities stated that the driver, who was not restrained by a seatbelt, was airlifted to a hospital in a critical condition.
As per the KCPD, they are now looking into impairment.
