Last Saturday night, as soon as 911 was called in response to shooting reports in the 800 block of Linden Avenue, officers from the South San Francisco Police Department (SSFPD) arrested a guy.
Officers attending the scene were able to quickly apprehend the perpetrator because of the witness’s detailed account.
As the police neared the man who fit the caller’s description, the South San Francisco Police Department said they noticed a gun sticking out of his front pocket.
Despite authorities’ best efforts to apprehend him, the culprit resorted to a foot pursuit when confronted. Notably, the pursuit came to a swift finish without any additional complications.

The person in question was apprehended. After its retrieval, the weapon was determined to have been taken from Fairfield a year ago.
Both careless discharge and illegal possession of a firearm are now allegations against the detained person.
Police from nearby agencies, such as San Bruno and Colma, were thanked by the South San Francisco Police Department for their crucial assistance during the event.
