At the Law Enforcement Torch Run last Thursday, which took place at multiple Texas Roadhouse locations, police from different agencies in the Lone Star State swapped their handcuffs for menus to raise money for a good cause.

These cops, in what appears to be an endearing annual tradition, worked as waiters to raise money for Special Olympics Texas, a nonprofit that helps people with intellectual impairments pursue their sporting goals.

The Lewisville Police Department said that the event was a team effort and that the officers involved were very pleased with their role.
