Woman in custody after allegedly stabbing boyfriend in Los Angeles

Police have arrested a woman in L.A.’s Arlington Heights neighborhood on charges that she stabbed her boyfriend.

Police were called to the area of Washington Boulevard and 5th Avenue just after 2:45 a.m. Tuesday because of reports of an attack with a deadly weapon, which was later confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department.

When the police arrived, they saw a guy who had been stabbed in the upper torso.

There was a man in a car with what looked like blood on his face, but it’s not clear if the crime happened inside the car.

He was taken to the hospital, but as of 7:30 a.m., no one knew what was wrong with him.

Service for news stringers KNN caught the woman being arrested on the sidewalk next to the car where the guy was seen sitting. She wasn’t named right away.

According to an update sent to KTLA just after 7:30 a.m., the lady was still being held by police but had not been officially arrested. Her bond with the man was also proven to be real.

The LAPD is looking into why the person stabbed someone. There were no other details known.
