It has already been a frigid week on the West Coast, with two storm systems approaching from the Pacific. They have brought snow, freezing rain, and frigid temperatures to the region, and forecasts expect these conditions to remain for the next two days.
Over the weekend, seven states have issued winter weather warnings and advisories: Alaska, California, Montana, Maine, Nevada, Utah, and Wyoming. Some areas are forecast to receive 1 to 3 inches of snow, while others are expecting 8 to 13 inches.
