A White Lake Township man was killed after crashing his motorcycle over the weekend.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said 32-year-old Andrew Joseph Haines was riding a 2022 Kawasaki motorcycle on Gingell Court in Pontiac at about 4 p.m. Sunday when he lost control, exited the roadway and drove into the deck of a house.
Police said although Haines was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash remains under investigation.
