On Friday, a man was taken into custody with an investigation into a killing in New Orleans.
Officers were sent to the 10800 block of Chef Menteur Highway at approximately 1:33 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, in response to reports of a man down, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The victim, later determined to be 23-year-old Desean Leggett, was discovered with numerous gunshot wounds when the authorities arrived.
When the ambulances and cops arrived, they declared him dead.
The alleged gunman was eventually identified as 22-year-old Ted “Tezo” Breaux. On August 12th, an arrest warrant was procured for him.

Members of the NOPD‘s Violent Offender Warrant Squad located and apprehended Breaux on August 16. Additional victims are being sought in the case of New Orleans deputy U.S. marshal impersonation. One count of second-degree murder was lodged against him at the Orleans Parish Justice Center.
