New Jersey is one of several states in the US that has issued a recall for several varieties of Lactaid milk.
The United States Food and Drug Administration has announced the recall due to the possibility that the milk units contain undeclared almonds in trace levels.

Retailers and wholesalers that received 96-ounce containers of Lactaid whole milk, fat-free milk, 2% milk, 1% milk, or 2% Calcium Enriched milk from 09/05/24 to 09/18/24 are being recalled by the business responsible for the recall, HP Hood LLC.
The Food and Drug Administration reported no cases of illness related to this recall as of Monday.
The problem was uncovered by the manufacturers during standard maintenance processes, which found small quantities of almonds in the products.
Milk by Lactaid Recall
Undisclosed on the label, HP Hood LLC voluntarily recalled certain Lactaid Milk products due to potential almond contamination.

Items distributed to the following states between September 5, 2024, and August 18, 2024, with the product code 51-4109 P2 printed on the plastic packaging, are impacted by the recall:

Anyone who has these milk products in their fridge can get a full refund or an exchange if they take them back to the store.
