Two Lucky Publix Shoppers Claim Over $50K Prize from Fantasy 5

Jacksonville, Florida – On Wednesday, two fortunate Publix customers scored more than $50,000 each by participating in Fantasy Five.

As per the Florida Lottery, the lucky tickets were purchased at a Publix store in Jacksonville and Tampa during both the daytime and nighttime draws on Wednesday.

A Hollywood shop has sold a Mega Millions ticket worth $2 million.

The ticket that won at the Jacksonville store had a value of $53,205.61.

The fortunate numbers drawn for the midday Fantasy 5 on Wednesday were: 16-20-29-33-36.

The victorious ticket, purchased at the Tampa store, had a value of $58,374.70 and contained the lucky numbers 4-8-14-24-36.

According to the Florida Lottery, the lucky shoppers will have a period of 180 days to come forward and claim their prize.

According to a statement from the Florida Lottery, although any Florida Lottery retailer can confirm the winning ticket, the grand prize for FANTASY 5 must be collected at a Florida Lottery District Office.

Fantasy 5 is a game based on the pari-mutuel system, where players can claim the main prize by correctly matching all five winning numbers drawn, regardless of their order.

Participants have the chance to earn monetary rewards or a complimentary Quick Pick ticket if they manage to match two, three, or four of the numbers selected during the official draw for the chosen date.

According to the news release, in case there is no grand prize winner, the funds from the grand prize pool will cascade down and be divided among participants who match either 4 out of 5 or 3 out of 5 winning numbers.

From the beginning of the game until now, over 999 million winning tickets of FANTASY 5 and FANTASY 5 with EZmatch have amassed prizes exceeding $5 billion, contributing over $3.87 billion to education and producing 16 millionaires.
