A crash involving a truck Thursday morning in Tyrone Twp. remains under investigation.
At around 4 a.m. Michigan State Police troopers from the Brighton Post responded to a crash involving a semi-truck.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the driver was southbound on US-23 when they blacked out or fell asleep, causing the truck to leave the roadway, drive into a ditch up and over Old US-23 and then struck a utility pole.
No injuries were reported and the traffic backup was minimal.
Consumers Energy crews were also called in to repair the pole.
