The three simultaneous gunshots on St. Patrick’s Day in Jacksonville Beach, which left one man dead and three others injured, occurred four months ago today.
Those accountable are still free. The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is not nearly as close to solving the case as it appeared a few weeks ago, according to Action News Jax’s Ben Becker.
Two suspects have not had an arrest warrant submitted, according to Becker’s law enforcement sources, which the Jacksonville Beach Police Department has since verified to him.
The night of the shootings claimed the life of 21-year-old James Jones III. Nobody has been named as of yet as a suspect.
The Latest in Action News The JBPD said the charges are being presented to the State Attorney’s Office in its “News You Can Use” newsletter, as Jax informed you earlier this month.
The mayor of Jacksonville has stated, “This is a safe community,” and the search for culprits in the shootings at Jacksonville Beach has continued.
