Applications are being accepted for the 2023 Investing in Our Communities Grant Program, sponsored by Trinity Health Ann Arbor and Trinity Health Livingston.
Designed to provide funding for sustainable projects in Washtenaw and Livingston counties that promote optimal health for vulnerable populations, grants of up to $50,000 are available with the application deadline set for April 3, 2023.
“We are excited once again to support initiatives that help promote happier, healthier and more vibrant communities,” said Alonzo Lewis, president of Trinity Health Ann Arbor and Trinity Health Livingston. “To fulfill our mission of being a transforming healing presence, our hospitals are looking to support outstanding organizations seeking to address health concerns most affecting the communities we serve.”
The grant program is designed to provide funding based on needs identified in the Trinity Health Ann Arbor & Livingston 2021 Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and CHNA Implementation Plan.
Organizations will be considered for a grant if they meet certain criteria, including:
- Trinity Health Livingston
o Serve zip codes: All of Livingston County
o Focus areas: mental health, substance use disorder, access to care, transportation, and food security/access.
- Trinity Health Ann Arbor
o Serve zip codes: 48197 and 48198
o Focus areas: mental health, substance use disorder, obesity and related illnesses, maternal and infant health
