The Corpus Christi Caller-Times reports that Hilda Ann Adame, a woman from Corpus Christi, Texas, was recently brought into custody stemming from the death of a child in a hot car.
The news outlet broke the story of what happened when the kid was left in the car. On that particular Tuesday, Adame failed to remember to drop her child off at daycare, according to a statement she made that morning.
Upon receiving the notification about the child’s whereabouts, the police and emergency medical services rushed to Browne Middle School. Reportedly, upon arrival at the site at 1:29 PM, the responding officers saw the school nurse administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the juvenile.
The child was regrettably declared reduced after the Fire Department transported him or her to the hospital after performing CPR.

A story from the Corpus Christi Caller-Times states that Adame was booked into a Nueces County jail. Adverse childhood injury with significant bodily harm is the charge, and the bond is set at $700,000.
An additional charge of abandoning and endangering a kid in imminent danger has been filed, and a bond of $200,000.
As reported by the Corpus Christi Caller-Time, Adame will continue to be held in custody until the time she is ready to post bond. Currently, she has not done so.
