A plea has been entered in a 2021 shooting at a Northfield Township trailer park community.
22-year-old Marcus Brice Johnson of Ypsilanti pleaded guilty to four felony charges in connection with the Sept. 3, 2021 shooting in the Northfield Estates manufactured home community.
MLive says Johnson pleaded guilty to one count each of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, discharging a firearm at or in a building, carrying a concealed weapon and assault with a dangerous weapon.
In exchange for the guilty pleas, a single count of assault with intent to murder will be dismissed at sentencing.
The Northfield Township Police Department say they arrested Johnson as he was attempting to flee the scene with a semi-automatic handgun that he had fired multiple times at another person, although no injuries were reported.
Johnson will be sentenced Aug. 24 by Washtenaw County Trial Court Judge Arianne Slay.
