The suspect in an armed robbery Thursday night in Brighton has been arraigned.

Steven Randall Bell was arraigned Friday in 53rd District Court on a single count of Armed Robbery. Magistrate Jerry Sherwood set a $100,000 cash/surety bondand scheduled a Probable Cause Conference for May 17 before Judge Daniel Bain.
Randall was arrested by Brighton Police after officers responded at about 7:30 Thursday evening to the Marathon Gas station located at 8355 W. Grand River Ave. for an armed robbery.
Witnesses say Bell entered the gas station and produced a knife while demanding cash. After the teller handed over an undetermined amount of cash, Bell fled on a bicycle.
Officers arrived on scene shortly after as did the department K9. A track was started immediately, and K9 Danko was able to track Bell down behind the PetSmart located at 8537 W. Grand River Ave., where he was taken into custody without incident.
Bell reportedly told officers he robbed the gas station, and the money was in his pocket.
