Clever Real Estate’s most recent study found that Los Angeles and San Francisco are two of the rudest places in California.
They also rank fourth and sixth on a national list of rude cities. This news adds to the current discussion about how to behave in cities in the Golden State.
Many people who answered the poll, which looks at trends in American cities known for being rude, said that they thought rude people lived in big, busy cities where people were busy and didn’t have time to do nice things.

On the list are places like Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Maryland, and Buffalo, New York, as well as Los Angeles and San Francisco. It’s worth noting that New York City is the rudest city in the United States, and New York State is the rudest state in total.
Clever Real Estate said that the high-stress, fast-paced environments that are common in highly populated areas might make people even more cold, which is a trait of cities in the North and Northeast.
“The rudeness and lack of patience that are common in these cities can seem unfriendly,” the report said.
