MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. –
Police in Miami-Dade County are investigating a stabbing incident that left one man hospitalized.
It happened Tuesday evening at the Sabor Cubano Cafeteria restaurant along the 12800 block of Southwest 8th Street.
According to authorities, there was a man who was causing a disturbance inside the restaurant, and another man, who was also a customer, stepped in.
Police said there was a physical altercation between the two, and the man causing the initial disturbance stabbed the victim multiple times.
The suspect then took off, according to authorities.
Teen Arrested for Aggravated Battery Following Meridian Stabbing Incident
Authorities said the suspect, who was described as a white Hispanic man about 5-foot-4 with royal blue hair, frequents the area. He was allegedly harassing a female employee, which is why the victim stepped in, police said.
Police said the victim was rushed to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in critical condition.
The investigation and the search for the suspect continue.
