A South Lyon man was killed while riding his bike in Salem Township earlier this week. The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Alex Gabriel Travis was killed on Monday, May 8th, at approximately 1:30 p.m. on 8 Mile Road near Dixboro when he was hit by a truck going the same direction. A South Lyon man was killed while riding his bike in Salem Township earlier this week.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office says 25-year-old Alex Gabriel Travis was killed on Monday, May 8th, at approximately 1:30 p.m. on 8 Mile Road near Dixboro when he was hit by a truck going the same direction.

MLive reports that while Travis is from South Lyon, his girlfriend lives in the area.
