NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released a video on Friday showing a group of teen girls wanted for attacking a 71-year-old woman during an attempted robbery at a Brooklyn subway station on New Year’s Day.
The incident occurred shortly after 6 p.m. near the Hoyt Street subway station in Downtown Brooklyn.
Police say the victim had just exited the subway turnstiles when the four teens approached her.
Together, they tried to grab her bag and hit her. When the robbery attempt failed, the girls ran off in different directions.
The elderly woman suffered minor injuries, and paramedics took her to The Brooklyn Hospital Center. She is in stable condition.
