Traffic in Brighton may see some delays over the next two weeks.
According to a communication from city officials, a contractor will be performing inspection, cleaning and lining of the City’s sanitary sewer mains on Grand River from Cross to Appian Way.
This first phase of this this work will begin on Saturday, April 16, and will continue intermittently through Friday, April 29. Drivers will experience occasional traffic shifts throughout this area during this time.
After the inspecting and cleaning is complete, the lining will begin. Most of this work will occur in the overnight hours and various lane closures will also occur during that time.
Officials will update the public with the timeline and areas for the second portion of the work once the dates are confirmed.
