There is a very serious issue that is going on in Texas that needs to be addressed quickly before things get even more out of hand.
Growing up I was the youngest of five kids, I always had lots to say but I was taught at a young age that there is a time and place for everything and sometimes you just don’t need to say certain things.
Well, some younger students in Texas are finding out the hard way as there have been multiple arrests being made.
We’re talking about when students make a threat against a school or school district. You might think that your kid would never do anything like that, but even making a threat out loud is enough to land a kid in jail.
School shootings are a horrible problem in our country, so officials and law enforcement have no choice. If a school is threatened, they must take serious action.

There was a story done by MySanAntonio that discussed 5 students being arrested for making school threats. Then I saw a story from CBS 19 about a threat against Pine Tree ISD, finally, KETK covered a story about an arrest after a student made a threat in Big Sandy.
Thank you, law enforcement officers, for taking these situations seriously, we don’t need another tragic event happening in Texas.
If you have any kids or know any students, now is the time to remind them that making a school threat is serious and can get you in big trouble.
This is the type of crime that will stick with you for the rest of your life, learn from the mistakes of others. Never, ever make a threat against a school.
