Officers from the San Jose Police Department detained a 21-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman on Friday, charging them with attempted murder and armed robbery.
The event occurred on June 8 in the 1500 block of Oakland Road and involved a man who sexually abused a woman.
Two men, one of whom came to her rescue, were themselves assaulted by multiple assailants. As a result, various individuals were arrested. Although his injuries were not life-threatening, the guy was taken to the hospital after police arrived shortly before 5:30 a.m.
The two individuals, one aged 18 and the other 21 were eventually recognized by investigators as being involved in an attempted homicide and an armed robbery that occurred around the same time on June 9 at the same place.
After allegedly robbing three guys at gunpoint, the perpetrators reportedly ordered one victim to lie down and then discharged a pistol towards the victim.

On June 22, following an argument in the 2600 block of Pendragon Lane, the 21-year-old suspect allegedly shot the victim inside her home. There was also an incident involving the victim.
On July 2 and 3, the two suspects were apprehended by the police after they had acquired arrest warrants. Among the defendants’ San Jose homes was allegedly a pistol.
