Caltrans Bay Area-District 4 has announced a 55-hour lane closure on U.S. 101 for median barrier upgrades, effective from Friday, October 25, at 10:00 PM until Monday, October 28, at 5:00 AM.
The closures will impact both northbound and southbound express lanes over a 2.5-mile stretch, from the San Mateo/Santa Clara County line to Whipple Avenue.
This closure marks the seventh of nine planned 55-hour single lane closures aimed at enhancing safety and efficiency.
Motorists should be aware that additional lanes may be temporarily closed to facilitate equipment and materials. Future closures are scheduled for November 1-4 and November 15-18.
