Commuters through Livingston County will be contending with another traffic headache starting later this week.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing northbound US-23 from I-96 to M-59 nightly from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Friday, June 3 for a $27 million resurfacing project between Spencer Road and Clyde Road.
The closure is expected to last through 6 a.m. on Friday, June 24, with traffic detoured via I-96, Spencer Road, Old US-23, and M-59.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
