Starting Tuesday, May 16, the contractor working on the Downtown Brighton Streetscape Project will start removing the concrete sidewalks on Main Street between West Street and Grand River.
The work is anticipated to last two to three days.
Officials advise motorists that there will be intermittent interruptions; however, as was done previously, temporary sidewalks will be installed.
Officials stress that they will always maintain access to businesses and that if patrons want to enter or exit an affected business while the contractor is working outside, they will suspend their work and assist the customer.
