Prospective employers sought for Job Fair at Brighton High School

Employers and prospective employees are both being sought to take part in the Livingston County Job Fair, sponsored by Brighton High School on Monday, March 6, from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.

Brighton High School Principal Gavin Johnson says the goal is to connect students and residents to local jobs and employment opportunities.

“We all know there is a shortage of employees in certain areas,” said Johnson. “I hope your businesses can find good employees and possibly offer our students/residents learning and/or possible career paths! This will be a simple event where I will supply you with a table and chairs in a hallway near other businesses that are like yours. You bring any materials, advertisements, business cards, sign-ups, and interview/application materials that you feel are necessary to promote your business! You will be assigned to an area and I will handle all communications to our schools, communities, and local media!”

Johnson says he is currently working with Pam McConeghey from the Brighton Chamber of Commerce, to communicate this opportunity and help build a better tomorrow in the community.

Any business or organization interested in participating can email Johnson at johnsog@brightonk12.com for details and an application.
