Party to celebrate reopening of Main Street in Downtown Brighton

A two-day event this weekend will celebrate the reopening of Main Street in Downtown Brighton from Grand River Ave. to Hyne Street.

The Downtown Brighton Street Warming Party will take place Friday and Saturday, August 26 and 27 with live music, face painters, stilt walkers, and other family activities, brought to you by The Shriners.

The Jill Jack Band, the winner of 46 Detroit Music Awards will be live at The AMP from 7-8:30 p.m. Then on Saturday, there will be solo musicians at four locations on Main Street from Noon-6 p.m.
