NYPD Apprehends Florida Man for Dangerous High-Rise Chair-Throwing Incident

Not only is Morgan Wallen charged with a crime for hurling chairs from buildings, but a man in New York is also being investigated for allegedly engaging in the same behavior, which was seen on camera.

Social media users are sharing a horrifying video of a wooden chair that was reportedly tossed from a high-rise in New York City last week. It’s not the first item this man is accused of throwing off the side.

According to the NYPD, a 33-year-old South Florida man was detained for reportedly hurling a chair from the 20th floor of a large building in midtown Manhattan, along with additional items that he began tossing from a terrace.

Among the other furniture pieces that police assert he threw are tables, benches, and what look to be panels; the latter were captured on camera fluttering down.

Fortunately, there were no injuries recorded in the wake of the incident. However, the man who was brought into custody now faces numerous charges, including first-degree reckless endangerment, third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal trespassing, and third-degree burglary.

This incident occurred two months after witnesses reported that Morgan tossed a chair off the rooftop of Chief’s, a six-story pub in Nashville, while intoxicated. Morgan was then jailed for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

After his arrest, the country music artist expressed regret for his actions and declared that he had offered apologies.
