The Livingston County Consortium on Aging is accepting nominations for the annual Commitment to Caring Award, given to an individual that has consistently demonstrated commitment, care and service to the Livingston County senior community on an ongoing basis.
Along with the recognition, the recipient can choose a charity to receive $500. Nominations are due by September 9, 2022.
To nominate someone for the Commitment to Caring Award, use the attached form or download it from this website to return to the Consortium via mail or email. The Commitment to Caring Award is a collaboration with Nancy Nawrocki, Elder Law Attorney.
The Commitment to Caring Award will be announced at the 13th Annual Caregiver Fair on October 1, 2022 at Brighton High School. The Caregiver Fair will be from 10 am to 2 pm and is a free event for caregivers in the community. There are numerous vendors and educational sessions to provide resources to caregivers in Livingston County.

The Livingston County Consortium on Aging provides collaboration, advocacy and communication between agencies and persons concerned with the provision of services to all aging adults. The Consortium is a 501(c)3 non-profit collaborative group representing public agencies, private businesses and individuals interested in addressing the needs of the county’s aging citizens.
