There are some personnel changes at the Michigan State Police Brighton Post.
The Post has a new Post Commander. F/Lt. Mike Sura, who was promoted on March 6th to the position. Sura was the Assistant Post Commander at the Brighton Post and has more than 21 years of service with MSP.
He replaced F/Lt. Joel Allen, who retired as Brighton Post Commander in December after 31 years of service.
Meanwhile, Kathy Jahoda, Administrative Assistant at the Brighton Post, retired March 31st after 27 years of service with MSP.
