Two weeks after she went missing, a Commerce Township teen has been reunited with her family.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office says after receiving a tip about her whereabouts on Saturday, detectives located Laken Elezabeth Lewis, 15, in the company of several people in northwest Detroit.

Sheriff Michael Bouchard credited the discovery to his special investigations unit and fugitive apprehension team, who were assisted by the Detroit Police Department.
Lewis had been missing since Aug. 18 when she left her home in the Stratford Villa mobile home park for an evening walk but never returned.
