The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office has reported that John Hancock, a man from Augusta who has been missing since December, was recently spotted in Marietta and Atlanta.
Hancock was last seen on December 23, 2024, on the 2500 block of Central Avenue in Augusta. He had been previously found near Greene Street, near an Augusta hospital.
Investigators have gathered information that Hancock was seen in Marietta on the 600 block of South Marietta Parkway SE and in Atlanta on the 600 block of Peachtree Street NE, both since January 1, 2025. These sightings have raised hope that he may still be in the area.
