Drivers through Howell will be making some detours on Wednesday.
City officials announced that S. Michigan Avenue will be closed Wednesday between Marion/Mason Road and Livingston Street from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to a notice on the city’s Facebook page, the shutdown is for crews to install two valves to isolate a water leak on Michigan Avenue.
Detours will be in place for both the north and southbound traffic. All semi-trucks traveling southbound are advised to use McPherson Park Drive to Mason to S. Michigan.
