Now, a restaurant franchise in New Jersey abruptly closes its doors after it is said to be replaced.
A local Burger King location is set to close. This terrible news was reported on Facebook by a user.
User Dylan Musella wrote, “I would let everyone know that Burger King is closing Sunday is their [sic] last day in Franklin NJ.”
He further stated that a “chicken pizza place” would take the place of the chain in a comment on his post.
Several others expressed their dismay at the unofficial news in their replies to his article.
Someone wrote, “So sad.”
Another said, “Yep, no more Whopper jr with cheese for me too,” saying he could also relate to the news.

Both of these places have a “Permanently Closed” banner next to them when searched on Google.
According to The US Sun, even Burger King is vulnerable to closing its doors.
In 2022, Burger King owned and operated 19,789 locations across the globe through franchises.
19,739 of them, or the great majority, were franchised.
According to Statista, during the previous ten years, a growing number of company-operated units have been replaced by franchised businesses, leaving just 50 remaining.
