This Saturday will be like Christmas Day for exotic car enthusiasts as the Lingenfelter Collection in Green Oak Township will opens its doors for its annual benefit for the American Cancer Society.
Since 2016, the Lingenfelter Collection Spring Open House has raised more than $310,000 in the fight against cancer, which has a personal connection to owner Ken Lingenfelter, who lost his mother, father and sister to cancer.
There are over 200 cars in the collection, which includes foreign gems like Porsches, a Maserati and a Lamborghini, but also unique models like a split-window 1963 Corvette, a 1974 AMC Gremlin or an ‘81 DeLorean. There will also be a sneak peek at some futuristic electric vehicles from Lingenfelter’s Performance Engineering shop.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the showroom located at 7819 Lochlin Drive. Admission is free with attendees asked to make a voluntary donation to the American Cancer Society.
