LACASA invites community to “Shine a Light” on domestic violence – Test

Glow Livingston County

Livingston County is being invited to shine a light on domestic violence in October by displaying purple lights and awareness signs at workplaces and residences.

LACASA Center’s county-wide October Glow campaign is designed to show support for local abuse victims and send a message to abusers that the community won’t tolerate domestic violence.

On Thursday, Sept. 29, LACASA Center invites the public to join them for their GLOW Gathering at the Brighton Millpond & Amphitheater as they launch their month-long domestic violence awareness campaign in Livingston County.

Residents and businesses can purchase purple light bundles with posters or lawn signs at the LACASA Collection resale store, 120 W. Highland Rd, Kroger Plaza, Howell.

All light packages are $25 and proceeds will fund critical programs for victims of abuse at LACASA Center.

For more information about LACASA’s October Glow campaign and materials, contact the Community Education Department at 517-548-1350 or email commed@lacasacenter.org.
