A Wayne County woman was killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash on I-96 in Brighton Township.
Michigan State Police report that 54-year-old Melissa Fletcher of Detroit suffered fatal injuries in a two-vehicle crash on eastbound I-96 near Grand River Avenue.
MSP says troopers were called to the scene at 9:17 p.m. where they discovered Fletcher and another vehicle had collided.
Fletcher was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
