A three-day workshop to discuss the City of Howell’s Master Plan is set for next week.
City officials say master planning is “a community-driven process that relies on input from residents, land owners, the business community, and other stakeholders to create meaningful policies that are a reflection of the future vision for the city.”
The sessions will be held October 26-28 at the Howell Opera House, with the public invited to attend. There will be kids activities all three days.
Starting with an Open Studio on Wed. 10/26 from 2-5 p.m., residents are invited to share their ideas with consultants, city staff & others.
The day will culminate with a contest at 7 p.m. with Howell City Council competing against the Planning Commission in a Family Feud style game.
The Open Studio will also continue on Thursday the 27th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and then 2 – 4:30 p.m. with a Neighborhood Roundtable set for 6 p.m. in which participants can “Share what you like, want to improve, or change about your neighborhood!”
Things will then conclude on Friday the 28th at 4 p.m. with a closing presentation in which ideas gathered over the three days will be digested and discussed.
Costumes are encouraged & refreshments will be served.
