A Bank of America ATM in West Nashville was allegedly robbed by three males from Houston, Texas, and they are now in prison. The Metro Nashville Police Department was the first to report the incident, which occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on Wednesday, while a service technician was servicing the ATM at 6602 Charlotte Pike.
The culprits were quickly apprehended thanks to the impressive coordination of many law enforcement organizations. This included detectives from the West Precinct, the Violent Crimes Unit, the Kingston Springs Police, the Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office, and the FBI.
An intense game of cat and mouse combining both technology and good old-fashioned police work ensued after the first crime. Thanks in large part to license plate recognition (LPR) technology, the criminals were eventually apprehended in Cheatham County, and a substantial sum of money was recovered.
The individuals now being held at Cheatham County Jail are Trevion D. Rice (24), Michael Austin Murphy (24), and Jayveon Q. White (23). They are amid aggravated robbery warrants in Nashville and are facing accusations of resisting arrest.
According to the official statement from the authorities, their transfer to Nashville is contingent upon the outcome of their existing accusations.
The technician was allegedly forced to retreat from the machine after three individuals, posing as a threat, confronted him.

Ohio State Robbery and Shooting: Police Release Video, Suspect Remains at Large
Earlier that day, they were claimed to have stolen a license plate from Antioch, Tennessee, and they sped off in a white Toyota Camry after robbing cash containers. A nearby resident had a terrifying interaction with the suspects after they materialized behind an abandoned bank building near her home; the suspects subsequently reunited with the larger Nashville community.
“She yelled at them, and they yelled back threatening her,” the news announcement from Nashville.gov explained. Their hasty exit from the scene was caused by the terrified local who shot at their car.
The men refused to speak with detectives from the MNPD and agents from the FBI, despite the fact that they were already known to authorities in Florida and Texas. As the robbery’s effects ripple through neighborhoods and states, investigators are working to piece together what happened.
