The record for the oldest American living person was broken last month by a woman from Houston, Texas, who celebrated her 115th birthday.
“She will tell you it’s by the grace of God,” Fox News Digital was informed by her granddaughter Ethel Harrison, 69, who is also from Houston.
She managed to stick around for so long because of that. From a spiritual standpoint, she is quite grounded.

Data from the World Economic Forum, a nonprofit research agency based in Switzerland, shows that there are much fewer supercentenarians than centenarians, with over 97,000 persons in the US being categorized as such.
At the age of 95, Francis’s daughter Dorothy Williams continues to live with her at home.

Additionally, some individuals are eager to discover the keys to eternal youth and are even attempting to devise formulas. Aside from supercentenarians, no one we know has been able to age to their fullest potential. It is said that they are the Olympians of old age. Quite the role model, Ms. Francis.
An award honoring Francis for being the oldest American living today was presented to her and her family earlier this year during a visit by Meyers.
