Hartland honors Support Person of the Year

Gayle Roberts, Secretary at Village Elementary, has been named the 2023 Hartland Consolidated Schools Support Person of the Year.

Roberts, who has been in the district since 1995, started as a paraprofessional, then worked at Community Education before moving into the office at Village where she has been for many years, except for a short stint a few years ago at Lakes. She is known for her collection of crazy and fun hats, glasses, and earrings and she has something to wear for every event and holiday.

“The Village Elementary team is so excited that Gayle has been recognized,” said Village Principal, Jason Reck. “Miss Gayle is an incredible person who has positively impacted generations of Hartland students, staff and families. Her kindness and laughter make everyone feel welcome at Village!”

Many parents and fellow co-workers have already congratulated her on social media noting that she is so deserving and one of the best in the district.
